Secrets to Career in Foreign Affairs Unlocked
All students interested in a possible career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have a chance to get the inside story on life as a diplomat on Friday, May 5 at 1:40 p.m. On that day, the Diplomacy Club will bring from International Relations alumni who work in the Ministry back to Bilkent to share their experiences with the students.

At the meeting, which will take place in the C-Block Auditorium, the graduates will talk about such things as the difficulties they faced in securing employment in the Ministry, the role being a Bilkent graduate has played in their career, and the personal and financial ramifications of being a diplomat.

After the event, there will also be the possibility of meeting the alumni face-to-face to ask more specific questions. Fourth-year International Relations majors who have not yet made up their minds about their career path after graduation will in particular find the meeting informative.
