On Sunday, October 24, Student Union and Health Center organized an aid trip for the earthquake victims in Gölcük. A bus, full of food and clothing donated by the students, left the university early in the morning to reach the site. The volunteers had a chance to hand in the donations to the victims personally. An ambulance and a medical team also joined the trip.
The aid campaigns will continue with trips to the site on regular basis. For further information, call the student Union at ext. 1337 or 1319.
