Gölcük Receives More Aid
On Sunday, October 24, Student Union and Health Center organized an aid trip for the earthquake victims in Gölcük. A bus, full of food and clothing donated by the students, left the university early in the morning to reach the site. The volunteers had a chance to hand in the donations to the victims personally. An ambulance and a medical team also joined the trip...

Bilkenters Run For Republic's 76th Anniversary
Last Saturday, nearly 300 people in all ages joined the Republic Run 99 to complete 5 kms from East to Main Campus. Professor Ümit Berkman, Vice-Rector, started the run with a moment of silence in memory of Professor Ahmet Taner Kışlalı who was assasinated in a car-bomb assault.
