BilWrite will offer a two part workshop on writing graduate school application essays (statements of purpose). Students who are currently applying to graduate schools, or those who are considering applying to in the future, are invited to attend.
Workshop Part I: Faculty Panel, Tuesday, November 23, 5:40 p.m.
Faculty members from different departments will share their perspectives on preparing statements of purpose. Discussion panel with members of the Science and Engineering Faculties will be held in FEASS building, A-232.
Discussion panel with members of the Faculties of Business Administration, Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, and Humanities and Letters will be held in BilWrite, Faculty of Science A Block, B01.
Workshop Part II: Writing a Statement of Purpose, Tuesday, November 30, 5:40 p.m.
In this workshop, BilWrite tutors will work with students on writing strategies to create effective statements of purpose. Students from all faculties are invited to attend.
Please bring a draft of your statement of purpose. This workshop will be held in BilWrite, Faculty of Science, A Block, B-01.
