Playing Tennis in Winter can be Fun
If you think playing tennis in the winter is difficult, how about playing it in a covered court? Just beside the dormitories on Main Campus, the heated and covered tennis court offers a nice environment to enjoy playing tennis from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. everyday.

"Tennis is a sport for all ages," says Alper Uğraş, Program Director of Tennis. Alper Ugraş spends a good amount of time in the courts instructing this sport that he has been playing since 1979. Besides tennis, he plays also all the other racket sports including table tennis, badminton and squash. Mr. Uğraş lived in Norway, Arabia, and the U.S.A. where he was certified by "USPTR' Van Der Meer Tennis University as an instructor.

Tennis can be taken as a credit or a non-credit course by the students. Alper Uğraş suggests that students should take at least one credit sports course during their academic lives. He also encourages students to participate more to other recreational activities offered at the university.

If you enjoy playing or want to learn how to play tennis (whether you take it as a credit or a non-credit course), all you have to do is to call ext. 1651 or 1993 and reserve the court. Enjoy yourself...
