In May, Bilkent hosted the Second Annual Turkish Universities Sports Games. The newly-formed Women's Soccer Team played against the Physical Education Departments of other universities. Despite no wins in the first two games, they won the meritorious fair-play award.
The team members stated that they had a wonderful time both on and off the field. The dinners they attended and the opportunity of merely being together boosted their enthusiasm and strengthened their resolve to do it again this year. This time, however, their rivals are to see a totally different team: a team hungry for success!
The soccer team is open to everybody, so if you want to experience the excitement of the beautiful game, and represent Bilkent University call coach Sabri Kaya at ext. 1993.
