Prof. Yalabęk Becomes Associate Provost
Prof. Cemal Yalabęk, Chair of the Department of Physics, has been appointed Associate Provost for the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs.

Dr. Yalabęk earned his Ph.D. in Physics at Brown University (Rhode Island, USA) in 1976 and continued his academic career at METU and Temple University (Philedelphia, USA). He has been with Bilkent since 1987 and served in the University Senate between 1992-1999.

Prof. Yalabęk is a member of the Turkish Academy of Sciences.
