77th Republic Day Concert from BASSO

Bilkent Symphony Orchestra will be performing a Republic Day Concert on Thursday, October 26. Hikmet Şimşek, one of the greatest musicians of The Republic of Turkey, will be conducting the symphony orchestra. This concert is also special for Şimşek since he has completed 45 years in his career as a musician of the new Republic.

Kültür Bakanlığı Ankara Devlet Çoksesli Korosu (Ministry of Culture Ankara State Polyphonic Chorus) will be accompanying BASSO's performances of Saygun, Sun, and Kodallı, composers of the new Republic.
