Volunteers Needed for Reading
Visually impaired students are in need of help for their studies. Would you like to give an hour or two of your time per week to read some articles for them?

You can volunteer at anytime during library hours (9 a.m.-11:30 p.m.). One or two hours of your time will make a big difference for someone who is unable to read. Your help will be greatly appreciated by the visually impaired students as well as by the library staff.

You might have read in Bilkent News about a student's gratitude for the help he received while an undergraduate. This was Süleyman Arı (IR/2000) who benefited from the volunteer program and was accepted at the University of California at Los Angeles for his graduate studies (with a four year fellowship). He and other students who are in need are hoping that such support will continue to be offered to other students in the same position.

If you are willing to volunteer, please contact Evrim Ergin in the library at the audio visual section (ext. 2686, eergin@bilkent.edu.tr).
