Paso Student Film Festival is Up and Running
Paso Student Film Festival, organized by students from the Department of Communication and Design, is to be held from November 3 to 5 in the German Cultural Center in Ankara. The festival will bring together student films, the cinema audience and the young filmmakers.

For the Festival, university students from all over Turkey have submitted entries that range from fiction and documentary to experimental and video art. Fifty-five of these newly produced films are included in the festival's program. Post-screening discussions, where the festival audience will have the chance of speaking to the filmmakers, are going to accompany many of the films. Two panels, on the process of filmmaking and on the context of film art in Turkey, are also to be held during the festival.

Attendance to all of the activities in Paso Student Film Festival is free of charge, and Bilkent students are welcome. Detailed information on the program can be found at the festival website: www.art.bilkent.edu.tr/filmfest
