Görsel Medya Kulübü Welcomes New Members
|
One of the most significant areas of development in the 21st century has been in the realm of “communications”, which has been recognized as an integral branch of social sciences. This semester a new club, Görsel Medya Kulübü (Visual Media Club), has been established by the Department of Communication and Design students. The new club’s main goal is to introduce Bilkenters to the amazing field of media studies.
The field of Communications, as an area of employment, has blossomed over the past few years. The members of Görsel Medya Kulübü plan to analyze the significance of Mass Media from many different perspectives. In order to accomplish this, they are planning to organize lectures and meetings, chaired by experts in the field, and to present Bilkenters with a series of conferences titled Bilkent İletişim Günleri. In addition to this, the club’s future goal is to gain more recognition for the Department of Communication and Design at Bilkent, throughout Turkey.
