Graduate School of Education Presents International Symposium On December 13,14 and 15, nine International and Turkish high school principals and administrators gathered on campus for a symposium sponsored by the Graduate School of Education. The International speakers included administrators from Jordan, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain. Representing the Turkish educational system were administrators from Bilkent partner schools including: Bilkent University Preparatory School, Özel Bilkent Lisesi, TED College in Ankara, Robert College in İstanbul, The American Collegiate Institute in İzmir, and the Üsküdar Academy in İstanbul. The symposium, directed by Dr. Dannelle D. Stevens and other members of the Graduate School of Education, was entitled, “Current Issues in Teacher Preparation.” Papers on different aspects of this topic were presented by the overseas and Turkish guests, along with members of the Graduate School of Education.
