Yelda Helvacıoğlu (MAN/01’) said she had submitted several applications for internship positions and jobs during the Fair. She also mentioned that she had one-to-one communication opportunities with the representatives from the firms and became much more knowledgeable about the interview process as well.
Another graduate, Volkan Erdil Günak (POLS/01’), is now working at Çukurova Holding where he applied during Career Days. He said that to be introduced to the representatives of the Çukurova Holding company during the fair enabled him to be more relaxed and prepared for the interview. According to Gürcan Güleşir (CS/01’) Career Days is a perfect chance for a university student and added that both the Career Fair and the Career Days organized by CDPC should be continued with a wider selection of attendees from several institutions.
Nural Tokmakoğlu (VSCTOM/01’) strongly advises students to pay more attention to these organizations as well. She is currently working at Merit Lymra Kemer, the company which she had an interview with during the Career Fair while she was a student.
All of these students prepared their CVs with the help of CDPC and you can view them at the CV bank operated by CDPC. For more information call CDPC at ext. 1911.
