Scuba Diving is Just a Phone Call Away!
Graduate School of Education Presents International Symposium

Have you ever dreamt of the world under the sea? Are you curious about what is happening beneath the waves? If you want to see living sea organisms in their natural habitat or discover underwater archaeology, you now have the perfect opportunity to make your dreams come true. Once you finish reading this article, make your way to BILSAT.
BILSAT was established by students who are interested in diving. You are invited not only to share the beauty and excitement of diving, but also the fun.
Following two weeks of theoretical and practical courses, you will be able to test for your PADI certificate. There are also courses in advanced diving, rescue, and dive-master. Training in other areas are also available such as cave diving, wreck diving, underwater photography, altitude diving and ice diving.
Here is Enver Arcak (Head of BILSAT) on what BİLSAT has accomplished, and what its plans are: "Last summer, we partnered with the American Institute of Nautical Archaeology (INA) in an underwater survey in İskenderun Bay, which was published in several reviews. Once again this summer, we will continue this project along with INA. We are also in contact with the Underwater Research Society in which selected members participate in underwater excavations, even if they are not archaeologists."
BILSAT is planning an introductory diving trip to Kaş where, after only 30 minutes of instruction, you can experience first hand the thrills of diving.
What are you waiting for? Call Enver Arcak at (532) 731-8554 or e-mail enver@gezgin.com.
You will be informed about the date of this trip in the up-coming issues of Bilkent News.
