A Community Initiated Project: Imrahor Valley

Two community organizations, (Kavaklıderem Derneği and Mamak Kitle Örgütleri Platformu) have jointly initiated a communal activity for the conservation of the Imrahor Valley and its re-integration with Ankara as a recreation area.
On Wednesday, April 17, there will be a series of activities on this topic, which will include a site visit in the morning, and exhibitions and a symposium in the afternoon. These last activities will take place in the ANFA facilities within Altınpark.
Proposals on the Imrahor Valley, developed by the students of LAUD 482 - Nature Conservation and Tourism, a course in the Landscape Architecture and Urban Design department, will be exhibited, as well as various other projects from previous years. Faculty members of the department will also address the guests, presenting their research on the Imrahor Valley and other subjects.
