Bilkent Klasik Danslar Kulübü, founded 4 years ago by aficionados of dance at Bilkent, has been instructing dance courses at every level. Meetings of the club take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the East Campus Sports Center. Dances that everyone can join to learn are the Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Jive and the Pasa Doble. If interested, you can also take courses in Waltz as well. An International Relations third-year student, Erdem Özkan, hopes to form teams of 2 to 4 couples to compete in the dance competition among Turkish universities conducted by the Federation of Ball Room Dances this summer. Bilkent students are encouraged to come and join the club as soon as possible.
