Tree Planting Fest Celebrated on Campus


Last week, a tree planting festival, organized by Çevre Kulübü, took place near Meteksan Lake with the participation of students from Özel Bilkent Lisesi. There were almost 150 people who planted 700 trees on the hillside near the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts.
The event took place on April 10, warm and a sunny day. Students competed to plant the greatest number of trees. All the participants were extremely tired - and extremely proud of the job they accomplished.
