Çevre Kulübü organized a three day "Recycling Fest" on April 24-25-26 in cooperation with METU, ÇEVKO, ANÇEVA and ŞİŞECAM.
The fest included conferences, concerts and “Go” tournaments. The aim was to promote the use of recyclable goods, over the use of non-recyclable ones that pollute and waste resources.
Çevre Kulübü offered 300 tickets free of charge to the Feridun Düzağaç concert, with a donation of 3 cans or other recyclable wastes brought to the desk at the entrance of FEASS. The money received from the sales of the wastes, are going to be donated to Çocuk İşçiliğiyle Mücadele Kulübü to provide books and clothes for children in need. An awareness of how to create a cleaner environment through recycling was the focus of this activity, and everyone attended felt that the goal was achieved by the end of the Fest. Hopefully, we will have a cleaner environment through recycling.
