Radio Bilkent Broadcasting at 96.6!

Radio Bilkent, which was founded in 1995 by students operating under the Dean of Students, after a short period of silence is back on the air in Ankara at 96.6 FM.
With nearly 60 volunteers from Radio Bilkent Music and the Public Relations departments working under the newly formed company -called the Bilkent Radyo Televizyonculuk ve Yayıncılık A.Ş., -Radio Bilkent offers classical music programs on weekend mornings and hit music broadcasts live during the day from 7 a.m. - 3 a.m.
Melike Bakıcı (MAN/III) from the Radio Bilkent Public Relations Department said: “We are very happy and excited to interact with our listeners on our new frequency and with our new music style”.
Melike also invites everyone to the “On Air Party” on May 15 at 9 p.m. that will be accompanied by fireworks, a step performance and other events.
Radio Bilkent will be conducting interviews both on academic and other issues as well as with some other organizations like Home Coming broadcasting or parties. One of the parties will be on May 17 at the Uptown Bistro for Academics and Staff.
