4th year students in the Department of Graphic Design have received awards in two separate design contests. The contest entitled “The Package Designers of the Future” was held by TetraPak Turkey. This was a competition between design students nationwide, with a total of 346 designs submitted. Out of these, the works of 5 Bilkent students were awarded prizes. In the fruit drinks category, Başak Gök took first place and Umut Aslantaş took 3rd. In the milk category, Pınar Kurt took first place, Melis Rozental 3rd, and Evren Erlevent 4th.
Another competition held by the Tepe Group was dedicated to a logo/logo type for a shopping mall named “Nautilus”. Three 4th year students from Graphic Design, Melis Rozental, Koray Zengin and Murat Bayral took first, second and third place prizes respectively.
