The AMER theater group will present a short, one-act comedy (“The Actor’s Nightmare”) by Christopher Durang, at the C-Block Auditorium on December 19 and 21, at 8 p.m. The group is supervised by Dr. Scott Pound and Dr. Yasemin Alptekin Oğuzertem.
This one-act play by Christopher Durang is about what all performers fear most: an actor finds himself on stage, in front of an audience, completely unprepared. He cannot remember his lines, the story or even his stage name. As the nightmare progresses, the performance seems to change around him, from “Hamlet” to a Noel Coward Comedy. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
