The Introduction to Electrical and Electronics course (EEE-101) held a contest on December 12. Prof. Levent Onural from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering arranges the contest every year for beginning electrical engineering students to introduce them to the field of electrical engineering and motivate them in their studies. All students who take EEE-101 are required to participate in the contest.
In this year’s contest students were required to design an electromagnetic weight lifter. Students were asked to design an apparatus with many constraints; the team who lifted the maximum weight won the contest.
The winners of this year’s competition were Gülçin Kayhan and Emre Kopanoğlu.
