The Physical Education and Sports Center organized a special evening for everyone interested in Far Eastern Martial Arts on December 25. The evening started with a workshop in which approximately 90 participants had a chance to learn the basic steps of Taekwondo and Wingtsun, followed by shows and a cocktail party. Approximately 160 participants - including the audience - were present.
The live performance included the Bilkent Teakwondo team, the Bilkent Wingtsun Group, as well as the World and European taekwondo champions performing their specific arts. The Bilkent Teakwondo team and the Bilkent Wingtsun Group also demonstrated special self-defense techniques.
