Bilkent University Participates in Winter Fest
|
The University Winter Fest in Akşehir was held between January 28 and February 2 with the contribution of several universities from Turkey. The aim of the festival was to develop the social, cultural and economic life of the region. Bilkent University took part in the organization through the activities of Radio Bilkent, Bilkent Jonglörler Topluluğu, Bilkent Klasik Danslar Topluluğu and the members of Toplumsal Duyarlılık Projesi.
On January 31, Klasik Danslar Topluluğu provided a performance accompanied by Bilkent radio, which was on the air throughout the festival area. Jonglörler Topluluğu performed during the festival as well, and along with the exhibition of Toplumsal Duyarlılık Projesi, the members of this organization had the opportunity to present their projects to other universities as well. On the following night Radio Bilkent gave a party for the participants.
At the Akşehir Winter Fest, 17 participant universities had sports and music presentations along with photography and drawing exhibitions.
