Bilkent To Host Young Chefs Competition

French Revolution, restaurants began to flourish, and the culinary arts developed into the fine profession it is today.
The importance of this competition underscores the fact that cooking is still a major aspect of the hospitality industry, despite all the modern advancements in computerization and technology. The talents of “Young Chefs” remain the main driving force behind innovations in today’s modern cooking styles.
At the end of the Competition, which will take place on April 7, there will be an Awards Ceremony with a cocktail party, at the Bilkent Hotel and Conference Centre. Later on, Bilkent chefs, assisted by a selection of Bilkent Students will prepare an 8-course Gala Dinner for 80 members and guests. Service students will also assist in the serving of the dinner.
