Bilkent Tiyatro Kulübü is a group of amateur students who have been presenting plays at Bilkent since 1993. Following the principle that “amateur” theater is focused on the audience above all the organization has been providing continual workshops to enhance the general public’s knowledge of theater.
After an introductory period, club members have performed many successful plays, such as; ‘Kadınlar Savaşı’, ‘Şahları da Vururlar', 'Taziye', 'Theope', 'Kafesten bir Kuş Uçtu'. After their play ‘Spot Altında Gölgesiz’ in 2002, they intend to perform a similar play for 2003.
This year Bilkent Tiyatro Kulübü will perform "İnsancıklar" on Friday, March 28. The play will be presented in the FEASS, C-Block Auditorium at 7 p.m. The club invites everyone to come and enjoy the performance.
