The Bilkent Humor Club will be organizing a four-session seminar on cartooning. These “Four Workshops on Cartooning”, organized by Şenol Bezci, aim at presenting the basics of cartooning, beginning from the selection of a topic to the final product.
Workshops will involve studying the fundamental theories of humor, learning how to come up with gags for cartoons, doing composition and layout, and showing basic drawing techniques.
Workshops will take place on Tuesdays throughout the month of April beginning on April 1, which is April Fool’s Day. The perfect day for a workshop from the Humor Club! The seminars will start at 5:40 p.m., and will be held at FADA, FCZ-11. Although people with drawing skills are appreciated, workshops are open to all who are interested in cartooning, either as producers or consumers.
