Last week, a group of Bilkent volunteer students picked up children from the Başkent and Atatürk Toplum Eğitim Merkezi to visit the Anatolian Civilizations Museum and the Municipality Circus Show at ASKİ Gymnasium. This trip was carried out by the TDP (Toplumsal Duyarlılık Projeleri), which is a project coordinated by Bilkent volunteers. Besides tutoring children, the project also helps organize social activities which brighten up children's lives. On this trip, 14 Bilkent volunteers led 60 children through both the museum and the circus.

The Mehmetçik İlköğretim Okulu in Mamak has been added to the list of schools in the Gönüllü Eğitim Projesi; the project is now seeking new volunteers for tutoring students at these schools.
