Belgium, Canada, France, Lebanon, Morocco, Switzerland, Egypt, Tunusia, Camerun, Algeria and Vietnam, are all francophone countries in which French is spoken by the majority of the population. The Department of Translation and Interpretation is holding Francophone Days on Thursday, April 10 and Friday April 11; on these days the cultures of various francophone countries will be recognized.
On April 10, presentations about francophone countries will be presented by students at FEASS,
C-Block Auditorium, beginning at
9 a.m. The exhibition in SAL, includes posters, paintings and authentic local goods sent by francophone countries. Dino Buzzatti's play adapted by Albert Camus "Un Cas Interressant" will be performed by students from SAL at 4:30 p.m., on Friday, April 11.
