“Choice” Meetings for Translation Students

The School of Applied Languages, and the Translation and Interpretation Department are organizing meetings called "Profession of Translation in Different Sectors", in which professionals from different professions doing translation, inform students - especially seniors - about the requirements of their particular business, their experiences, and the qualifications needed to work as an interpreter or translator in different areas such as translation in embassies, in public institutions, translation offices and international organizations.
These meetings are aimed at helping students with their choices after completing their university requirements. The first meeting was held on March 21 at SAL, with the participation of Ms. Nazlan Ertan from the Embassy of the Netherlands. This week's meeting is about translation and interpretation services carried out by translation offices and will take place on Friday, April 25, at 10:40 a.m. at the School of Applied Languages, LA-101.
If you are interested about what is going on in the translation sector, you still have an opportunity to learn about it from professionals.
