Student Dormitories Sports Hall Shakes with Action

The Interval Training Program, organized by the Physical Education and Sports Center, was held at the Student Dormitory Sports Hall on November 12. A total of 150 students participated in the program and shared the fun of working out together.
“The Interval Training Program includes aerobics, taibox, step, fitness and stretching sessions. All of these are combined by the instructors to offer students a dynamic and enjoyable program. The number of participants increased 50% from last year. We invite everybody, no matter what their skill levels, to attend our basic fitness program.” says Filiz Gür, Coordinator of the Sports Center's Aerobics and Step Program.
Participants not only had the benefits of working out in a modern facility, but also received special Bilkent University Interval Training t-shirts as well as enjoying fruit juices and snacks after the program. Here is what some of the participants had to say about the Internal Training Program:
Gözde Bahadır (MATH/III): “This is the second time I participated in the Interval Training Program. The atmosphere is wonderful. It’s a great way to meet new friends, and I love the fruit juice cocktail party after the program where we get a chance to talk to each other.”
Kaya Demir (EE/I): “This is a wonderful program. Everything is very well organized. I look forward to the next program.”
Harun Ekinoğlu (LAUD/I): “Meeting new friends and working out in such an enjoyable atmosphere was really fun. I hope they organize another event like this in a month or two.”
Don't forget that you can still register for aerobics/step courses.
