Since 2005, students in TRIN 371 (Advanced Web Page Building) have built websites for various Bilkent entities, and last semester was no exception.
“During the course for the fall of 2016, students from the Department of Translation and Interpretation completed five website projects for a diverse group of entities across Bilkent’s campus,” said Erin Maloney, instructor in the course and a faculty member in the Department of Banking and Finance.
Coordinators who worked with Ms. Maloney on the five projects were Dr. Yiğit Aydın (MUS); Asst. Prof. Joanna Mansbridge (AMER); Dr. Charles Gates (HART); Asst. Prof. Partick Hart (ELIT); and Assoc. Prof. Nihat Solakoğlu (BF).
On Friday, February 10, Ms. Maloney and Dr. Jacques Morin (HART) hosted students in their home for the sixth annual Web Page Wassail Party. In the photo (left to right) are Ms. Maloney, Handan Akyüz, Dr. Aydın, Zeynep Çenesiz, Dr. Solakoğlu, Irmak Tank, Nurben Güleç, Buket Nur Ekim, Mustafa Cem Çakır, İdil Özkök, Umut Tan and Burcu Aktaş.
Other students participating in the project were Barış Aydın, Gamze Boz, Büşra Göçgen, Ali Arda Gül and Merve Karagözoğlu.
