Bilkent University has been listed among the world’s elite institutions in seven subjects and four broad subject areas covered by the latest Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings by Subject. The 2018 QS Rankings by Subject indicate which universities are the best in the world, according to the criteria used by QS, in 48 disciplines.
These criteria include academic reputation, employer reputation and citations per paper. To produce the rankings for this year, the QS staff analyzed over 22 million papers producing close to 200 million citations. A total of 1,130 institutions were ranked across 48 subjects in 5 subject areas; the top 500 universities in each subject, as well as in the 5 broader areas, are listed in the rankings.
