Bilkent Erzurum Laboratory School 12th grade student Öznur Hancı has taken fourth place in the 19th national Turkish Philosophy Olympics.
The exam-based competition was organized for high school students by the Turkish Philosophy Institution and held in 12 centers across Turkey, with 725 participants. Bilkent Erzurum Laboratory School hosted the eastern leg of the Philosophy Olympics on November 9.
The exam was assessed by the previous members of the Institution, and the results have recently been released. Öznur ranked fourth and gained the right to represent Turkey in the World Philosophy Olympics after passing the English language exam.
Bilkent Erzurum Laboratory School has been hosting the eastern Anatolia leg of the competition for the past two years.
