Philanthropist Aysel Sabuncu and Bilkent University have recently signed a donation protocol for the establishment of a brain research center.
In the center, whose purpose will be to examine how the brain functions, scientists from the Departments of Molecular Biology and Genetics and Engineering will conduct research in collaboration.
The facility will be called the Aysel Sabuncu Brain Research Center. It is expected that it will be designed in two months and completed in a year. The center will be the first such facility in Turkey and will be located at Bilkent Cyberpark.
