This year, Bilkent Cyberpark is one of the agencies helping to implement the first phase of the TÜBİTAK 1512 BİGG Program. During August and September, Cyberpark hosted a series of training and mentoring sessions for young entrepreneurs whose business proposals were selected as the 100 best among those submitted to the program. It is noteworthy that 40 percent of the entrepreneurs submitting proposals were Bilkent graduates.
The training sessions included instruction on creating a business plan, which was considered to be an especially valuable component of last year’s sessions. At the end of the first phase, 25 of the candidates were selected to continue on to the second phase of the program, and will be eligible to apply for 150,000 TL in capital support.
