The Library Art Gallery is hosting an exhibition of paintings by Zeki Fındıkoğlu and Mineke Reinders. The exhibition, titled “Visitors,” opened last week in the Library Art Gallery.
Mr. Fındıkoğlu has lived in virtually every region of the Anatolian peninsula; the rich variety of cultural and artistic traditions in Turkey has developed into a lifelong interest for him. His works, which reflect that interest, have been exhibited in the US and Turkey, as well as other countries in Europe and Asia.
Ms. Reinders was born and raised in the Netherlands, and moved to the United States in 1986. After a career in another field, she attended Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi where she graduated with a BA in art in 1995. She has been exhibiting her work since the early ’90s in both group and solo shows in the United States, Europe and Turkey. Her paintings can be found in private and corporate collections in many countries.
“Visitors” will run until March 24 and will be open every day (except Sundays) between 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
