On November 3, the Bilkent swimming pool hosted the university’s second Fall Swim Festival. Organized by the Sports Center as part of the “Sports as a Way of Life” program, the event attracted 54 swimmers.
Koray Özbay (ME), the winner in the men’s advanced category, came close to but did not break the men’s 50-meter freestyle pool record (00:25.39) previously set by Mesut Halıcıoğlu. However, Sinem Savaşer (IE) did break the women’s 50-meter freestyle pool record, with a time of 00:30.09.
