Two Bilkent students have recently developed applications for iOS/Android devices.
Halil Kayım (CS/V) created “Auto Color Splash,” a photography application allowing users to edit photos quickly and automatically. In seconds, it gives pictures a dramatic look by converting the background to black and white, while keeping the automatically chosen foreground in color. The app may be downloaded from http://apps.kayim.me/.
Another two applications, for Android devices, were developed by Department of Music student Ahmet Öznacar. “Heybro” is an improved chat application, while
“Heyuni” integrates all universities in Turkey by making it possible for students in different departments to communicate and share information easily. These apps may be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
