On December 16 and 17, the Department of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture (LAUD) marked its 25th anniversary, bringing together students, alumni and current and past faculty for a two-day event.
On the first day, a panel session provided students the opportunity to learn about potential career tracks for LAUD graduates by listening to the personal stories of alumni with distinct experiences and expertise from different fields of work in various cities around the globe. Panel members Aslıhan Özaslan (LAUD ’96), Nevter Zafer Cömert (LAUD ’98), Ahmet Yıldız (LAUD ’01), Eda Ersoy Tombakoğlu (LAUD ’02), Harun Ekinoğlu (LAUD ’06), Müge Durusu-Tanrıöver (LAUD ’06), Betül Karakaya (LAUD ’10) and Ayça Keskin (LAUD ’10) were present on campus, while Alihan Soydan Polat (LAUD ’00) participated from New York, USA, and Onur Çamurlu (LAUD ’01) and Can Perçinler (LAUD ’10) from Abu Dhabi, UAE, via Skype.
On the second day, the LAUD community enjoyed a reunion gathering and celebrated the department’s 25th anniversary.
