If you’ve spent any time on the third floor of the FADA building this semester, you may have been pleasantly surprised to find yourself walking through a grove of trees. The “forest” was produced during the 2017 spring semester by students in Fine Arts instructor Yves Gobart’s Drawing and Visual Expressions course (FA107).
The purpose of the exercise was to create a one-to-one (life-size) scale drawing using vegetal elements in different frames. The result was not only a successful project, but a continuing delight to the eye for passers-by.
