The Brave Pink Cat Chasing Music
“A very mindful, very inquisitive cat. And very brave it is.”
A patchwork painting exhibition by Yelda Cavga, “The Brave Pink Cat Chasing Music,” opened in the Bilkent Concert Hall on April 7 and will remain on display through April 30.
An extraordinary cat figures in this unique exhibition. The paintings, done on fabric, tell about a day in the life of an inquisitive cat who follows the mysterious music it hears.
The exhibition, presented in conjunction with the 35th International Ankara Music Festival, is a kind of musical tale series, created especially for children and all the young-at-heart who love cats and/or music.
Webinar on Nature Masterclasses Scientific Writing Course
The Bilkent University Library is holding a Nature Masterclasses webinar on Wednesday, April 25 from noon to 12:30 p.m. Nature Masterclasses, a program developed by a division of Springer Nature publishers, provides training in scientific writing and publishing.
The webinar will provide a brief introduction to the online Nature Masterclasses course, information on how to register for and access the course, and a demonstration of how the course works, including information on how to track your progress and receive a certificate.
