During the past summer, Bilkent University experienced the untimely loss of two students and two recent graduates.
Ecem Zeliha Postacı, a fourth-year student in the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, and Kubilay Kayaran, a 2017 graduate of the Department of Computer Technology and Information Systems, School of Applied Technology and Management, lost their lives in a traffic accident on Thursday, August 30, 2018.
Mustafa Sonver, a 2018 graduate of the Department of International Relations, Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, due a heart attack.
Boran Can Tayşi, a first-year student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of our students and alumni, and wish to extend our condolences to their families, friends and the Bilkent community.
