Assoc. Prof. Yasemin Afacan was appointed acting chair of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, effective March 26, 2018. Dr. Afacan took over the position from the previous acting chair, Prof. Ayhan Altıntaş.
Fulya Gürer was appointed acting chair of the Department of Graphic Design, effective April 16, 2018. Ms. Gürer took over the position from the previous acting chair, Prof. Ayhan Altıntaş.
Prof. Erdal Erel was appointed acting dean of the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture and acting chair of the Department of Fine Arts, effective May 14, 2018. Prof. Erel took over the positions from the previous acting dean, Prof. Ayhan Altıntaş.
Prof. Ece Göztepe Çelebi was appointed acting dean of the Faculty of Law, effective July 1, 2018, and subsequently dean of the Faculty, effective July 19, 2018. Prof. Göztepe took over the position from the previous dean, Prof. Turgut Tan.
Asst. Prof. Aslı Bayata Canyaş and Asst. Prof. Aslı Elif Gürbüz Usluel were appointed associate deans of the Faculty of Law, effective July 1, 2018. Dr. Bayata Canyaş and Dr. Gürbüz Usluel took over the positions from the previous associate deans, Asst. Prof. Barış Özçelik and Asst. Prof. Hüseyin Can Aksoy.
Vis. Prof. Stein Haugom Olsen was appointed associate dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Letters, effective July 16, 2018.

Prof. Sinan Gezici was appointed vice chair of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, effective August 7, 2018. Prof. Gezici took over the position from the previous vice chair, Prof. Tolga Mete Duman.
Prof. Ali Sinan Sertöz was appointed vice chair of the Department of Mathematics, effective August 9, 2018.
Prof. Mefharet Kocatepe was appointed chair of the Department of Educational Sciences, effective September 1, 2018. Prof. Kocatepe took over the position from the previous chair, Prof. Mehmet Baray.
Güliz Esen was appointed acting chair of the Department of Business Information Management, effective September 1, 2018. Ms. Esen took over the position from the previous chair, Nur Sağlam.
Assoc. Prof. Bülent Batuman was appointed associate dean of the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture and chair of the Department of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture, effective September 3, 2018. Dr. Batuman took over the latter position from the acting chair, Kumru Arapgirlioğlu.
Assoc. Prof. Burcu Şenyapılı Özcan was appointed acting chair of the Department of Architecture, effective September 14, 2018. Dr. Şenyapılı Özcan took over the position from the previous chair, Assoc. Prof. Meltem Gürel.
