What do you like best about Turkey?
The culture and history of Turkey captivate me. Further, the people here are so humble.
Are there any similarities between Turkey and your home country?
Well, I’d have to say there may not be a lot in common, except for people’s hospitality.
What will you miss most about Bilkent/Turkey?
Hands down the all-nighters with my friends, where we would do everything except study.
What’s your favorite place on campus, and why?
I sometimes like peace and quiet; that’s why I have some secret spots to enjoy, like in back of SA Building.
What’s your favorite Turkish food and/or favorite part of Turkish culture?
Oh, I would hands down kill for börek and chocolate sufle.
Where do you expect to see yourself 10 years from now?
Most probably doing a PhD in biochemistry at some American university.
What’s the hardest challenge you’ve handled in Turkey?
I think the language barrier was hardest thing, but then I learned the language, and it’s not so hard now.
What cities have you visited in Turkey, and which one is your favorite?
I’ve visited İstanbul, Cappadocia and obviously Ankara. And because of its historical aspects, I liked İstanbul the most.
Do you have any hidden talents?
Does not needing a mic to be heard in a room full of people count?

Do you guys have parties? Yes? Seriously? What are they like?

Learner, talkative, confident and active.
If you could master any skill, which one would you choose, and why?
I would love to learn and perfect the art of getting through a lecture without using my phone.
