The Bilkent University Faculty of Law has become a full member of the European Legal Practice Integrated Studies (ELPIS) network. It was officially admitted to the network at the organization’s most recent annual meeting, which took place in December in Hannover, Germany.
ELPIS was founded in 1983, with the purpose of promoting mutual understanding by exposing students to “alternate approaches to legal cases in different systems and surroundings.” The network enables undergraduate and postgraduate students “to develop skills in various European law systems and prepare for cross-border juridical professional practice” and also offers a master’s degree program.
