A project proposed by Asst. Prof. Ercüment Çiçek of the Department of Computer Engineering and Dr. Erman Ayday, an adjunct faculty member in the department, has received a four-year grant from the US National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The project, on the topic “Privacy-Preserving Genomic Data Sharing,” is being funded in the amount of 1.2 million dollars through the NIH’s R01 Research Project Grant Program.
