How has regular exercise affected your life?
It’s helped me establish a weekly routine and boosted my confidence. Also, it protects me from serious health problems.
What do you suggest to those who are just taking up a sport or starting to exercise?
For beginners, it’s very important to exercise properly so that they’ll be able to maintain a long-term routine. They should keep track of their improvement and increase the intensity of the exercises step by step.
What are the first three things that come to mind when you hear the word “sports”?
Basketball, discipline and health. Since I played basketball on different teams for 10 years, I unintentionally became disciplined, and I haven’t had a serious health problem thanks to exercise.
Which Bilkent sports facilities do you use?
I use the sports hall for strength training, and the basketball court for playing basketball after using the gym.
Have you taken any courses or participated in any Sports Center activities?
In 2018, I played in the 5-on-5 basketball tournament.
