How often do you exercise?
Twice a week.
How has regular exercise affected your life?
I exercise in order to boost my well-being and regulate my stress level. Also, I’m able to control my movements, which makes me happy. After each exercise session I feel more energized.
What do you suggest to those who are just taking up a sport or starting to exercise?
I suggest that they make time to exercise regularly. At the beginning, I tried to put off exercising and hesitated to go to the gym. However, after I started to get results, I became more motivated to devote some spare time to exercising. So, beginners shouldn’t be lazy about working out; fantastic results await you! And even if you don’t have any concerns about your weight, you should exercise for your mental health.
What are the first three things that come to mind when you hear the word “sports”?
Music; meditation; motivation to pursue my other goals in life.
Which Bilkent sports facilities do you use?
I prefer to go to one of the sports halls and use the exercise equipment there.
Have you taken any courses or participated in any Sports Center activities?
I attended a Zumba class and a Pilates class before the pandemic.
