In the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, Associate Professor Selin Sayek Böke has been appointed associate dean, replacing Associate Professor Pınar Bilgin in the position.
Three of the university’s academic departments have new chairs.
In the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Professor Alev Çınar has been appointed chair, replacing Professor Elisabeth Özdalga.
Professor Selim Aktürk has been appointed chair of the Department of Industrial Engineering. Prof. Aktürk has taken over this position from Associate Professor Osman Oğuz.
The new chair of the Department of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture is Assistant Professor Bülent Batuman. He replaces Gaye Çulcuoğlu.
